About our
Upton Meadows
nursery
Our Upton Meadows nursery is inviting and warm with a home from home feel. The areas within our nursery are dedicated areas for the different age ranges to ensure we offer appropriate learning and experiences tailored to that age. All the rooms within our nursery and the outside areas build up on the children’s interests and aim to stimulate their curiosity. We are also very lucky to have a fantastic garden area for our children as well as a sensory area.
At our nursery in Upton Meadows we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supporting all areas of your child’s development from three months until they are ready to go to school. Our early years practitioners monitor each child’s progress and plan a variety of enrichment experiences to support individual development in all areas of learning.
Rainbow Room
Our childcare setting is unique as we accommodate all of our children within our large rainbow room.
We have dedicated areas within the room for different learning opportunities for the various age ranges, which are tailored to toddlers and pre-school.
Bi-fold doors allow the room to be divided when required.
Our Outside Area
Our outdoor space is used as an extension to the learning environment, by using free flow between the indoors and covered outdoor area. We offer a range of outdoor activities to encourage curiosity and exploration.
We also have additional access to the Upton Meadows Primary school outdoor facilities which they have their own wild area, ramble trail and trim trail.
