We are proud to announce that our Nursey Manager Jordan Tully, who oversees the running of two of our nurseries in Princes Risborough, has been recognised for his dedication during the first lockdown and recently received a COVID-19 Community Champions Award.
This award was presented by the Princes Risborough Mayor and Chairman Cllr, Matthew Walsh, after Jordan had been nominated by the local community for showing exemplary service to the community throughout the first lockdown. The award represents the thanks from all the residents as well as the Town Council for all those that he helped during that time.
Jordan was nominated because not only did he keep the service for the two local nurseries running for critical and key workers throughout lockdown, he also reached out to offer emergency childcare to local doctors and whoever else was in need of this service. He and his team were able to offer high quality childcare and flexibility to meet the needs of the local community.
Upon receiving the news on his award win Jordan said: “This means a lot. I couldn’t have done it without the support from the Ashbourne Day Nurseries senior management team, especially Louise Chalkley. For me, this is one of our biggest strengths – we all pull together and work together to get through anything. I am proud to be part of a team with likeminded, passionate and dedicated individuals.”
We think this award is very well deserved and are thrilled that he has been recognised. Congratulations Jordan!
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Nursery Manager Jodi Donnell who also stepped in to work throughout the first lockdown by keeping our Milton Keynes Central nursery open and running for critical and key workers. Her team also offered flexible childcare for all those in the local area who needed it. She went above and beyond in her role and on behalf of everyone from Ashbourne Day Nurseries, we would like to thank both Jodi and Jordan for all their hard work, dedication, and positivity at such a difficult time.
