What we’ve been up to…
This month in our baby room they have had lots of fun getting messy and involved in some lovely Christmas activities. They have been learning how to use paint dabbers to make Christmas cards, developing their palmer grasp holding stampers and expressing themselves through paint on paper while decorating snowflakes. They have also been looking at different textures by adding glitter to the paint.
In the toddler room they have enjoyed lots of different Christmas activities. They have been decorating their own bags ready to take home, and developing their fine motor skills by sticking things to their Christmas wreaths. The children have also enjoyed using playdough that smells of Christmas and making snowflake stamps in the shaving foam.
In the pre-school room they have also been getting ready for the festive season. The cheeky elf is back causing havoc daily! The children have been forming letters, numbers and shapes for a very special gift and have been enjoying winter themed crafts and small world activities. Please could you bring in a family photo for our display board.
We have sadly said goodbye to Jo. However, we are pleased to welcome two new members of staff to the team. Jocelyn and Steph have been settling in and integrating into the team well.
