About our Milton Keynes Central nursery
Our Milton Keynes Central nursery and pre-school is friendly and lively with a home from home feel. Located near the centre of Milton Keynes as well as the train station there are excellent transport links nearby which is ideal for commuting families. With capacity for 80 children our nursery is spread over two floors, with dedicated rooms for our four age groups.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supporting all areas of your child’s development from three months until they are ready to go to school. Our early years practitioners monitor each child’s progress and plan a variety of enrichment experiences to support individual development in all areas of learning.
Our friendly team is led by Delia Bostan. Delia is a passionate manager, who is enthusiastic about her nursery, her team and all the children who attend. All our team members are first aid trained.
Our aim is to provide the highest quality of childcare and learning within a secure environment, allowing our children to prosper. We offer an enriching programme full of learning opportunities that gives every child the opportunity to gain the knowledge and confidence that they need to thrive in school and beyond.
Our children are served seasonal, healthy lunches and snacks daily and we can cater for any dietary requirements as well as support the weaning process for babies.
The four rooms within our nursery are dedicated areas for the different age ranges to ensure we offer appropriate learning and experiences tailored to that age. We have two cosy baby rooms, a toddler rooms, and a pre-school. All the rooms within our nursery and the outside areas build up on the children’s interests and aim to stimulate their curiosity. We are also very lucky to have a fantastic garden area for our children as well as a sensory room.
Our baby rooms are split into two, one for 3 months – 1 year old and the second for 1–2-year-olds. We also offer a separate sleep room so our babies can have a quiet nap when needed. We also offer flexibility depending upon the age and stage of each child before moving them onto the next room. These rooms are separated from the rest of the nursery, so our babies can learn and develop in their own environment.
This room is large and lively, full of enthusiasm and learning. We use a curiosity approach to encourage the children and aim to minimise the use of plastic and focus on natural resources and real-life objects, as we feel children learn best from real experiences.
The pre-school at our Milton Keynes nursery has been specially designed for the requirements of children from 3 years old until they take the next step up to school. Our pre-school leads out onto an exceptionally large garden area that our pre-school children can have free flow access to. We use a curiosity approach to support children with their education, social skills, and preparation for school.
Our fantastic outside area provides a stimulating learning environment and includes a mud kitchen and a construction area for our children.
