What we've been up to...
Potion making
Earlier this month the children had lots of fun creating their own potions using dried flowers and water.
This learning opportunity helped the children to develop knowledge of measurements as well as helping them to develop their fine motor skills by using pipettes to transfer water.
Nature hunt
At the beginning of the month the children went on a nature hunt in Barking Park.
They enjoyed enriching their curiosity by finding their own natural resources and creating a nature area in the nursery room upon our return.
This learning opportunity helped the children to broaden their understanding of nature and the world around them
World Book Day
On World Book Day the children enjoyed reading ‘The Tiger who came to Tea’ and using their imagination to recreate the story in the small world area.
They also created their own bookmarks to help them when reading their favourite stories.
