Meet our new support office apprentices

Support office apprentices

Here at Ashbourne Day Nurseries, we fully support apprenticeships and the benefits that they can bring for both apprentices starting their career or looking for a career change, but also the benefits that they have for businesses.

We are delighted to welcome our three new business administration apprentices, Jemma, Millie, and Neal, who joined our support office team this week.

Find out more about them below.

Jemma support office apprentice

Jemma will be supporting the training team with all the business administration tasks required for a busy training organisation.

“I previously worked in retail as a shop manager for a number of years, I then took a break when I had children. I’ve always wanted to work in administration, and I thought that this would be the ideal opportunity to pursue my interests. I’m hoping to learn all of the skills necessary for a successful career in business administration. I’m really looking forward to getting stuck in and learning all there is to know.”

Millie will be supporting the Marketing team and will be learning all the skills necessary to be an effective marketer.

“I left school in 2020 and I started my level 3 digital marketing and business course at college in September that year. During my studies I also had a part-time role at a printing company. I’m looking forward to developing my creative skills and learning all the different aspects of a challenging marketing role. I can’t wait to get out and about visiting the nurseries and getting stuck in broadening my knowledge of childcare and marketing.”

Neal will be supporting the Finance team and will learn about all the different aspects of finance.

“I’ve been working as a night receptionist at a hotel for the past two years. I was keen to do a business administration apprenticeship as I am always up for a challenge and I like to learn new processes and skills. I am looking forward to joining such a great team and learning about all of the various aspects of administration and finance.”
