About our
Princes Risborough
nursery

Our Princes Risborough nursery is inviting and warm with a home from home feel. The areas within our nursery are dedicated areas for the different age ranges to ensure we offer appropriate learning and experiences tailored to that age. We have a cosy baby room, a toddler room, and a pre-school. All the rooms within our nursery and the outside areas build up on the children’s interests and aim to stimulate their curiosity. We are also very lucky to have a fantastic garden area for our children as well as a sensory room.

Our children are served seasonal, healthy lunches and snacks daily and we can cater for any dietary requirements as well as support the weaning process for babies.

At our nursery in Princes Risborough we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supporting all areas of your child’s development from three months until they are ready to go to school. Our early years practitioners monitor each child’s progress and plan a variety of enrichment experiences to support individual development in all areas of learning.

Toddlers

2 to 3 years

Our toddler room has been designed around the requirements of inquisitive toddlers and their development needs which includes a home corner and a creative station.

The toddler room at Princes Risborough day nursery caters for children between 22 months and 3 years old.

Pre-school

3 to 5 years

Our pre-school has been specially designed to meet the needs of children from 3 years old until they take the next step up to school.

We are very lucky to have a breakfast bar which overlooks the kitchen area. This allows our children to assist and interact with the chef whilst he is preparing food, which helps them to learn about the food that they will be eating.

Outdoors

Our nursery has two outside areas, one for our toddlers and one for the pre-school children.

Our toddlers can use their garden at different points throughout the day, whereas our preschool children have free flow access to their garden, which means they are able to go outside whenever they wish to do so.
