Temporary Childcare
We understand the difficulties some families may be facing which may require temporary childcare. The Government has acknowledged the importance of keeping early years settings open to allow parents and carers to continue to work. We would like to offer help to anyone who may have seen their current childcare provision close.
Temporary childcare terms and conditions
- Children must not attend another nursery setting during the period of the temporary childcare. This is because of the childcare bubbles and covid-19 safety restrictions we have in place
- We will offer free registration for those who are in need of temporary childcare
- The temporary childcare period is currently running in line with any new Government guidelines and may be extended
- To ensure your child settles within the new environment, a minimum of two sessions need to be booked per week
- Our offering is available for all children under the age of 5
- Covid-secure visits are available if you would like to view the nursery before the temporary placement begins
- Sessions are subject to availability
- As the childcare is only temporary, we are unable to claim for children receiving 2 year, universal and extended entitlement funding as this will already be registered at the current childcare setting
- Any additional childcare requirements can be discussed with the nursery manager upon your visit to ensure that we can meet your child’s needs
- Fees are payable in full on the first of each month, in advance
- A full week’s notice must be provided to remove the temporary childcare placement
- This offering may end at anytime and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer
